We are Carbon Neutral!

At Highview Accounting Services we believe business and the community should co-exist at a positive and productive level now and into the future. As well as remaining involved with the schools and various sporting clubs in the immediate area, given the current state of drought and increasing climate change, Highview has recently taken the initiative to become Carbon Neutral.


What is involved?

After seeking advice from local government we contracted the Carbon Reduction Institute to measure our carbon footprint and organise the offsetting of these emissions by purchasing carbon credits. The firms footprint includes emissions from gas, electricity and water usage, depreciation of office equipment and buildings, staff travel and the disposal of all waste. All staff are involved in coming up with ways to reduce our emission, which has proved to be positive team building exercise. Highview believes in purchasing carbon credits that preserve the environment for future generations, including the planting of trees and investing in green technology.

Highview Accounting Services plans to become a leader in social and environmental awareness in the local area and aim to promote other businesses to join them.
